Flooding

It’s a cold and very wet day, the rain is very heavy and a lot of it. I’ve got some flooding and my path is flowing like a river. Pixie went and had a play in the puddle!

Pixie and her dirty paw prints on my carpet and on my black tv cabinet which was cleaned last week. Pixie walks along my computer desk and on my colouring which I now have to cover in between colouring. Here is her proof!!

Whitcoulls Competition

I entered in the Whitcoulls Adult colouring competition which is New Zealand wide. It took me about a week to colour and I was pretty happy with it. I was going to do a second one but decided not to in the end. Whitcoulls had the top three winners along with one hundred runner ups. Sadly I didn’t win.  They had thousands of entry’s too.

Bright Picture

I used Neon sharpies on this design. From the book Kaleidoscope Neon Colouring Butterflies and More

Out for Lunch

Football practice was cancelled for today so I went out for lunch with Mum and Dad over at Albany. I had a look around and got myself a toastie sammy maker. We then enjoyed a nice lunch and sat outside in the warm sunshine. I had this sweet and sour mango drink and it was quite nice. After another stop in a few shops we headed home.

Fox

Really enjoyed doing this fox, used five Stabilo 68 1mm felts. From the Menagerie: Animal Portraits to Colour

All Blacks

Ben and I went to the All Blacks game at Eden Park and it was a good game.

The first half wasn’t too good but the All Blacks picked up there game in the second half. The All Blacks have claimed their first win of 2016!

Pixie is 15 months now

Pixie is snuggled up to me sleeping while I was watching TV last night. Pixie is 15 months now.

Pixies Check Up

Pixie had her first vet check up done this morning (Vet came to my home). Pixie basically told the vet who was boss when he took her from my lap. The nurse wrapped her in a towel while the vet was able to give her a yearly injection and add some Broadline which is flea and worm treatment in one. That was it this time. Hopefully Pixie will get better with vet checks as she grows up! Vet said they have had cats worse than her so it was pretty normal.

Kaleidoscope Neon Colouring Butterflies and More

Another easy picture I decided to colour. Used BIC Pastel markers. From the book Kaleidoscope Neon Colouring Butterflies and More

Flowers

A nice easy one I did today using Stabilo felts and gel pens. Picture from Jo Pearson NZ Artist
