Body Works Vital

Went to Body Works Vital with Mum and Dad.

It was very interesting and lots to see and read about regarding our body inside and out. A lot of work has gone into making the display bodies and parts. I really enjoyed checking this out.

Easy Flowers to Colour

A nice easy one to do, using prisma pencils. From the Twilight Garden Colouring Book.

Visit from Ben and Charlotte

Had a nice visit from Ben and Charlotte this afternoon. Ben and I caught up with what we been up too in between Charlotte playing hide the ball around the house for us to find. Charlotte has grown up a lot since I last saw her. She even got to see Pixie who rolled around on her tummy outside by the door.

My Powerchair is BER

It’s official, my TDX SR powerchair is sadly been given the BER (Beyond Economical Repair) and almost unsafe to use. I’m excited for a new chair but kind of sad about it as it has worked well for me over the 6+years I’ve had it. Basically my TDX SR and the HDTTGB motors have both been discontinued a year ago!! The electronics, actuators, controllers, seat frame and other major parts are not replaceable or have to be ordered in from the USA and can take months. I hope the actuator for my recline will survive till I get my new chair including the buckled seat frame which has caused the chair to be unsafe and now urgent replacement.

I will need to look after the chair like it’s GOLD now to keep it going for at least another six months or so!!

Fun to Colour

Enjoyed colouring this in and I used Prismacolor pencils. From the Twilight Garden Colouring Book.

Tabby Cat and Pixie

This is the tabby cat that came inside and ate Pixie’s food a week ago and came in again this week, unsure if it ate Pixie’s food or not as Pixie was in lounge too.

It was again at the door this morning looking to enter for a feed so I quickly shut the door with Pixie on the other side of the door. If the door is left open a bit it knows where to find Pixie’s food, this is now a problem as I can’t watch the door 24/7. I then opened the door and squirted the cat with my bottled water and followed it and squirted more water. It needs to learn I don’t feed it. I wonder if it’s a lost hungry cat or a friendly hungry cat.
