New NZ Prime Minister

Chris Hipkins will be Labour’s next leader and New Zealand’s next Prime Minister.

Hipkins takes over following the shock resignation of Jacinda Ardern who will step down after five and a half years. 

Hipkins was the only candidate to put his name forward for the top job.

Ardern’s departure comes nine months out from the 2023 election on October 14.

Jacinda Ardern quits as Prime Minister

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern will stand down on February 7.

She said she had hoped to find the energy and heart to continue in the role over summer, “but I have not been able to do that”.

Mission Bay

Enjoyed a day out with Dad at Mission Bay and this time I was able to wheel on the sand due to this hard matting. Fish n chips was yummy with a Mango Cream ice cream from Movenpick

Where is Summer

Where is Summer and all the nice sunny days! Summer you are late!

First day I was able to get out and about on my own in the sunshine which felt good. It didn’t last as it started to rain lightly half way home.
